Macy’s Phillies Ad
On November 2nd, 2009, the Philadelphia Inquirer ran an ad congratulating the Phillies on winning back to back world series championships. The previous night, the Yankees had taken a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a 7-4 win.
Was this just an epic failure, or did someone at Macy’s know something that we don’t?
