This is really AWESOME.. Too bad i actually like my job.. I work for myself, cant get much bette rthan that! You should add a prize for the most unique presentation of their red stapler! That would be fun.
Well, i am DEFINITELY stumbling this!
I think it’s horrible for a teacher to hate his/her job. It’s a tough job, yes, but if you hate it, then you shouldn’t be a teacher. Education is sub-standard these days as it is, and if you have teachers who don’t have their whole heart into it and love their jobs, they’re doing a disservice to the kids.
Oh. Hell. Yes.
Few people hate their jobs more than I do. I will attempt to take part (unless the good Lord answers my prayers and I find a better job in this rotten economy, of course).
Great idea!
what… kind of holiday is this? red stapler day? i don’t even have that one hehehe….

Hi!
Love your idea my friend but since economy ain’t that good nowadays, I need to love my job to feel happy in my everyday work.
Will join your movement when I feel less happy about my job.
Until next time. See you around.
@Kikit I do agree with you, they should be a yellow stapler for those of us who love our jobs. Why dont you start a post on your blog for that?

Wow, this is something new to me. Sounds like an interesting holiday. I will have to see if I participate as the world is kinda messed now and I don’t really want to lose my job.
Found this just in time. Glad I didn’t miss it. It is a sensitive topic though these days. Hate your job or not one should be glad to have one. I talk to many each day who don’t.

I did it, my pic should be in the e-mail. Although if my boss finds out I’ll be outside living homeless for sure. He’s such a jerk.
whoa.. this is great!
everyone deserve a decent layoff, at a time..
hmm.. can’t say I have any urge against my job, thou.. but I’ll support the team anyway! Yay!
I think a person should be required to watch “Office Space” before being allowed to post an opinion here.
I don’t hate my job either, but I hate a lot of the paper pushing politics involved in it and my Red stapler is my reminder not to take it all TOO seriously.
I love this holiday idea! Those of you expecting the Yellow stapler thing… Start your OWN blog and see how may joiners you get
This is some awesome idea. Great for you guys. I do not work in a office or for someone like that, but have friends that will find this site useful.

I work from home too.
what kind of holiday is this?
This is awesome idea and great marketing campaign. Is there any chances that they’ll come up with PINK STAPLER DAY? Just Kidding!I actually have red stapler with me now. I just love collecting office supplies, is this some kind of OC disorder thing? Fixed my office space now and realized I ran out of pens and push pins.
You are the best
I appreciate the mission of Red Stapler in so far as it attempts to improve the attitudes of both employer and employees relative to making the workplace wholesome and happy.
However, I would caution anyone who hates their jobs to be careful.
Usually the reason that people hate their jobs is that the place is not terribly tolerant to begin with.
For example, when Columbia Pictures brought in an executive, Bob Stone, known far and wide as a morale crusher, the creative energy at Columbia suffered terribly.
Had someone brought a red stapler poster into Columbia during the Stone years, he or she would have immediately identified himself or herself as expendable. And, I mean that day.
If red staplers are going to be used, the folks displaying them better have no need of a job, or a good reference.
No employer already suffering in this economy is going to be happy with someone who he or she has given a job to throwing that job in his, the employer’s, face.
So, be smart. Think stapler, but be very careful about making a bad situation worse if you need that pay check.
At places like Columbia, “loyalty” to the employer is everything. Once the employer knows for sure that an employee is not fully grateful for the job he or she has, there are a million people just waiting to have a chance to be equally miserable, but quietly.
This is really AWESOME.. Too bad i actually like my job.. I work for myself, cant get much bette rthan that! You should add a prize for the most unique presentation of their red stapler!
