I finally did it. I opened an account with Bluehost and registered the domain.
www.redstaplerchronicles.com is now all mine. Please update your bookmarks and links. For now, I have wordpress digitally mapping my blog to the new domain. Thus, nothing really has changed with my blog, it is just automatically redirecting from www.cashcrateworks.wordpress.com to www.redstaplerchronicles.com.
Eventually, I will install wordpress on my host and run it from there. When I accomplish this I will able to do things that I can’t do at wordpress such as run java scripts–how most ads work. As soon as I accomplish this, my blog will then be monetized.
If you are think about getting serious about blogging and getting your own host, I would highly recommend BlueHost. Thus far, their support has been EXTREMELY HELPFUL to this novice.
