Entrecard Saga Update

I now have an inbox full of messages (10 of them to be exact) from the Entrecard support team who were trying to fix my problem. After receiving the 8th message, I realized what was causing the problem. Somehow I had two accounts. One of them was my legit account that was linked to redstaplerchronicles.com. The secondary rogue account was linked to a non-existent redstaplechronicles.com (No “r” in stapler).

As of now, my duplicate account has been deleted so that it will not cause any more confusion. My account now seems to be working fine except that my dashboard status still says that “Temporarily disabled.” Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Although the Entrecard support team has been responsive to all my inquiries, there is a lesson to be learned. Who ever is in charge of purging accounts needs to change their mindset. Instead of deleting accounts at the first sign of trouble, they should always assume that there is a honest mistake that led to the violation. In America, we call this innocent until proven guilty and giving the benefit of the doubt. Only after eliminating every possible legitimate reason for the violation should they then purge the account.

  1. I have noticed too that Entrecard deletes accounts very quick. A bit too quick to be good. Luckily they respond to any inquiries fast and accurate. I’m glad to see all things work out now for you.

  2. I also try Entrecard, for now i didn’t noticed that it deleted accounts, maybe not for now…I will try to check about it..Thanks for the information.
