Google hates me again

Once again, Google has stripped me of my search results on all of my key phrases. I am now getting zero traffic via Google. GRRRRRRRRR!!!! What happened this time? The only thing I can think of is that switching this blog to Do Follow has done some kind of harm and that one of my commentators linked to what Google would call a “bad neighborhood.” As a result, I again pleaded my case with Google and am hoping that they restore my status. I told them that all comments would now require moderations and that I would only accept comments from people who use their actual name or the name of their blog in the “name field.”

Does anyone else see anything on my blog that would anger Google?
I am coming to the conclusion that new bloggers face extra scrutiny from Google. Other bloggers share this theory, called being “sandboxed.” Check out this post on Thou Shall Blog about Google sandboxing by clicking here. I think I also have an extra target on my back since I promote affiliate get paid to sites (Like CashCrate and Treasure Trooper) on my blog. Why these types of sites have such a bad reputation is beyond me. They are not scams and they do pay.

Adding insult to injury, Google adsense also rejected this site AGAIN for some reason. I can’t even get an adsense account via creating a blogger account. Maybe I offended Google in a previous life or something. Oh well, there is nothing I can do about this situation now, so I will just have to move on. I will certainly keep you updated with how my “Google battle” is going. Wish me luck!!

Maybe it’s time to start working yahoo and msn and forget about google? At least for the moment. After all how much time and energy does one need to waste pursuing google before you find out that you could have at least gotten something from other sources?
I certainly wish you luck whatever you do!

To be perfectly honest, I will never understand how Google determines who is or is not worthy of search engine results or pagerank. Adsense is a whole other ball of wax, I’ve heard of people being “banned” because their click throughs supposedly all came from illegal sources. I have Adsense ads on my blog, but I’m not a big Google fan at all.

Your use of dofollow doesn’t have anything to do with it. Here’s what I see.
1. You’re still indexed in Google, that’s good.
2. This domain is new. Rankings will fluctuate wildly for the first 6 months or so, depending on your primary keywords.
3. This being a new domain will also affect its acceptance into Adsense if this is the only domain you have.
4. You have an excessive number of IFrames on this page. This is a common web spammer ploy and may result in search engine placement penalties. The solution is to get rid of advertisements that use IFrames for about 3 months and introduce them back slowly.
5. Your theme is SEO unfriendly because it puts sidebars at the top of the HTML rather than after the content.
6. You should rel=’nofollow’ any affiliate advertising link.

Google bans as Charity says above for illegal clicks on you ADS,or placing ads from another advertiser on same page, altering the html that google gave you for their adds.
Encouraging clicks, Copyrighted Material ,The list goes on, prescription drugs, beer, tobacco or tobacco-related products, hope this helps as when I link with other site have to read contents
Thanks for all the advice and tips. Having a new blog and promoting it sometimes feels a roller coaster ride.
Does anyone know how to get a listing removed from Google after you deleted the actual site. Before moving to my own domain, this site lived on wordpress.com and it is still showing up on Google searches. I really wouldn’t care, but I deleted the entire blog and it is just showing a error message.
Frank has pretty summed up what I have to say. I couldn’t agree more with him; in particular you really need to pay attention to #5 and #6.
Google doesn’t hate you. It’s just the rules of the game. If you notice it, the faster you are on the first page, the higher your odds of getting “sandboxed” and Google doesn’t really like it so it places you onto the ‘holding area’ till it confirms that you are really worth the index.
Don’t worry you will be back soon if you re-optimize your blog and continue your linkbuiding as usual.

The rel=’nofollow’ on my affiliate links was an easy fix.
Thanks!

Hi,
In looking at your website they only thing I see is that you have a low pagerank. My blog is dofollow and I would welcome any comments you make with a juice passing link. Now, if your blog was new at the time this is what probably happened….
When you begin, Google doesn’t apply all their ranking formula to you. They specifically waive most things that other sites have to deal with but after a little bit the apply their full formula and as a result your rankings dropped.
I think you have to Promote your blog via Link Building and Getting quality Back links. Also Update the Content regularly. Post the Quality and Effective content. Also Doing Social Bookmarking and Networking. It’s May Help you to Getting traffic.
