No raise for me this year!!
I found out today that I will not be receiving a raise this year. My company feels that sales were too weak to justify raises. As difficult that is to swallow, I can understand it. I think everyone would agree that they would rather skip a year of raises, than have their company complete mass layoffs.
However, what does piss me off is that fact the my company’s CEO did get a raise and makes $14.4 million a year. If the company is doing so poorly, should he forgo his raise?? GRRRRRR.

Sorry to hear it. It must be so disheartening to hear of executives cashing in while the company fails. In my opinion, it’s corruption in its highest form.
