The Obamaclinton2008 experiment

clinton_obama_delegate_count A couple of days ago, I started playing around with an old blog that I had started last year–obamaclinton2008.blogspot.com

I then checked to see if anyone had claimed obamaclinton2008 on wordpress, and to my surprise, no one had. So obamaclinton2008.wordpress.com had been added to my empire.

After making one post and submitting it to stumble upon, digg, propeller, and furl, I decided to check out a Google search on obamaclinton2008. I WAS STUNNED. I completely own the first two pages of results. Today, I added www.squidoo.com/obamaclinton2008 to my arsenal.

Now I am left with a couple of questions.

1. Will obamaclinton2008 really be a popular search term if that does become the ticket?

2. How will I take advantage of any additional traffic I get.

3. What other domains could I secure to help out this experiment.

Anyone out there have these answers or have any opinions? Am i wasting my time or does this have a chance to work?

  1. I think it has a chance. I don’t think John Edwards will be Obama’s running mate as people are suggesting. Keep hyping up the Obama-Clinton ticket and maybe enough people will catch on.
