Untill next year IRS
Hooray, I finally put off doing my taxes today. I will even get back a little money from both my state and federal government. My taxes were a little more complicated this year due to my on-line earnings. Any time you make over $600 from a company in a calender year, you have to file a W-9 tax form. That company is then required to report your earnings to the IRS and send your form 1099-Misc by January 31st of the following year. Although it stinks that you have to pay taxes on the earnings from your 1099-Misc, you are allowed to deduct business expenses (such as internet access) since you are technically running your own business.
Today I also updated my Current Earnings Page (look toward the top of the page). I am closing in on the $4,000 mark!!
